"Thank you for the kindness, expertise, and care"

About: Borders General Hospital / Accident & Emergency Borders General Hospital / General Medicine

(as a relative),

We had a sudden and unexpected stay in hospital after my husband had a slight stroke. From the time we arrived we were treated with care, compassion and thoughtfulness. The nursing staff and doctors kept us fully informed and were happy to explain everything and answer our questions. We spent time in A & E before being transferred to the medical assessment ward. We were later put into a single room on the ward and I was allowed to stay with my husband until he was discharged later the following day. We would like to express our thanks to all concerned for the expertise, kindness and care shown to us.

Dear Border Thank You,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feed back to us on your experience within the Emergency Department and Medical Assessment Unit in the Borders General Hospital. I am delighted that your husband recovered quickly and that you were able to stay with him overnight. Your feedback is very appreciated and I will make sure that all of the team are aware of your kind words!
