We had a suspected ectopic pregnancy I was in a far bit of pain I was referred to the unit from the Urgent Care Centre at Welwyn - the GP there had been competent, quick and understanding and the waiting time not too bad.
I was seen by a Sonographer, who was great. They introduced themself, explained everything extremely clearly about ultrasound and what was found as they went along and was very gentle during the ultrasound.
It wasn't even that we were just relieved about the news, it was that we felt everything was under control and the next steps made perfect sense. The Sonographer prepared a report for us to take to our next scan (as we are currently out of your area) and the whole appointment took less than 15 minutes - wow. Thank you so much Early Pregnancy Unit and especially to the Sonographer for their competence and care.
