"Words cannot express my gratitude to Hartley Ward"

The kindness, care, compassion, comfort, warmth, tender nursing and attention, empathy and dignity shown to my dad and his family whilst on this amazing ward are difficult to put into words. The doctors, nurses, clerk, HCAs and cleaners, EVERYONE has helped us through a very difficult time and I will be forever grateful. We witnessed the same standard of care to all patients on Hartley ward, not just to my dad. Our fears were understood, procedures fully explained and our feelings taken into account at all times. I want to thank each and everyone of you, special thanks to the Consultant, nurse and another member of staff and to so many others but unfortunately I did not get your names, I hope you know who you are!! You are a credit to yourselves, your colleagues, your team, your hospital and the NHS. Unfortunately I cannot say any of the above about his awful treatment and his terrible stay in Royal Blackburn Hospital,
