My 3 year old son trapped his finger in a door and had to be taken to the Borders General Hospital to get his finger sewn up but he was very upset and is quite scared of doctors and hospitals. My wife and I were very concerned. From start in A&E through X-ray, Anesthesia, Surgery and Ward 15, we got great service and felt that the staff cared about my son's wellbeing. This made everything so much easier and made my son feel at ease. We felt every option was looked at carefully and made a stressful time for us both more bearable.
The nurses in ward 15 were great and the anaesthetist were brilliant although everyone we dealt with was really helpful and friendly. Thanks to all.
