I would like to pass on my thanks to all the staff who dealt with my husband who was admitted on Mon 15th May with problems relating to a parastomal hernia.

From the initial contact by phone with the Staff Nurse on SAU, who dealt efficiently and easily with my brief outline of the circumstances and my request to bring my husband straight to them, by passing A&E, to the Dr and Nursing staff on duty that night who despite having no access to records, dealt effectively and sympathetically with him at all times, I cannot thank you enough for your professional skills and humane attitudes.

I would also add to that special thanks to the consultant for their surgical and patient interaction skills and the staff on Ward 15 for their care.
