"Elmstead Day Unit"

About: Colchester General Hospital / General medicine

I had cause to use the Elmstead Day Unit, having been referred for a Colonoscopy.

All the staff, from reception to medical team were welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Having previously worked within the NHS, I know that complaints are usually quick and loud to follow, but that praise is more often slow and quiet.

I felt I had to take the time to make sure that my good opinion of the unit was recognised.
