About: St Mary's Hospital / Gynaecology

I'd like to say a massive thankyou to the staff who looked after my daughter on the 2/08/2017 whilst her operation. I must say there is a student nurse there who came across very confident and made my daughter feel at ease and comfortable. Lovely hospital, except for the seats in the admissions aren't very comfi after waiting 4 hours!!!!

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS Choices website regarding your daughters care within the Gynaecology Department at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. The Trust has introduced a Behavioural framework within which all members of the nursing and medical teams practice so it was reassuring to read that you felt your daughter was made to feel at ease and comfortable. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Mrs Pam Kilcoyne, Lead Nurse for Gynaecology and Mrs Sonia Hadley, Ward manager and the staff involved. We will ensure you observations regarding the seating in the admissions lounge are fed back to Mrs Sarah Devaney, Matron for Gynaecology who is currently reviewing the patient journey through the Admissions lounge as the environmental issues are very important to her.
