"A&E and ward 7 short stay"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

Arrived at A&E unable to bare weight on my left leg and in excruciating pain due to inflammatory arthritis my son went to ask for help getting me out of car. Two lovely nurses came out with a chair which they helped me get into and took me to the desk to get booked in whilst my son parked the car. All the staff in A&E were brilliant. I was taken to ward 7 short stay to get some physio and see an OT who again were brilliant but I have to say the person who greeted me on ward 7 was exceptional. They were so friendly and reassuring that tey made me feel at ease even though I was in a lot of pain. All the staff at this hospital are really good at their jobs and their bedside manner is so caring you instantly feel your in safe hands.
