I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff that looked after me during my short stay. I was so frightened when I went in for an ablation procedure for SVT, but right from the word go everybody was trying to put me at ease, the surgeon came to see me and explained exactly what they would be doing. but unfortunately I was still very nervous. The procedure was a little uncomfortable, I was given sedation and painkiller but I have to be honest it still hurt, but nothing I couldn't stand, and the end result was so worth it when the surgeon told me it had worked and I wouldn't have any more episodes. The after care back on the ward was excellent they did everything they could to make me comfortable I was looked after mainly by a student nurse they were brilliant, explaining things to me and answering all my questions, so polite whenever they had to examine me. The only regret I have is that I didn't see them before I left to thank them so much for everything and to wish them luck in their finals, I would really like it if you could pass the message on to them. Once again a great big thank you to everybody. xx
