"Birth of our daughter"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as the patient),

1 week on from the birth of our 3 child I felt the need to praise all the staff involved.

Our daughter was born by ELCS and everyone involved were truly great. We were informed at all times and the ERAS protocol was implemented successfully.

Special mention to Helen, community midwife, Tracey, Adele and Margaret midwives who looked after us on ward 22 as well as Hannah the student midwife who will make an exceptional midwife.

Dr Mclellan and her reg Victoria for carrying out a very calm and personal section. Pauline the charge nurse in theatre who put me at ease and ran the theatre like clock work. The female anaesthetist who's name I didn't catch, her manner was exceptional as well as professional and she instantly put us at ease.

I can't actually fault any of the staff involved that day despite the fact it was extremely busy and the staff were stretched as always. Keep up the good work and a big thank you again from us.

Hi LW17

Thank you so much taking your time to give us feedback on Care Opinion. I am sure you must be really busy with your new baby at the moment.

Thank you for all your positive words, I am so pleased that everything went so well for you and your family. It is lovely for the staff to know that they helped make your birth experience such a positive one and I know they will join me in wishing you and your new family all the best for the future.

Kind Regards
