BMI Chatsworth Suite Chesterfield, firstly please let me start by saying that this email will not do justice to the outstanding service and dedication I received from all at BMI Suite. I was told I had diverticular disease after been rushed into NHS Calow hospital a week before my wedding, luckily out in time to walk up the aisle. Following 3 further episodes over the next 18 months enough was enough, was put in contact with the at Chatsworth Suite and instantly put at ease, questions was answered so we could understand them, time taken to explain options, care taken by the receptionist to make sure we was ok and coffee on hand, even the porter had time to chat and ask how we were. Never pushed into a corner to make decision, options discussed and outcomes for the future made plain to understand. I had a decision to make about having Anterior Resection operation, easy, the Dr made me feel relaxed and I had 100% faith in him, I booked it in. I can only say this was not my only option but at my age (45) it had to be done, yes it was not something that I wanted to have done but life is life. From the moment I walked in on that Monday in April 2010, I felt nervous but totally relaxed, with the receptionist calling me by my name when I walked through the door, to all the staff caring for me, for the porter who knew my name, the attention to detail and the sensitive nature of everyone involved, a massive thank you, you made me feel special.

The Dr was very professional and understanding, and all the nurses understood how daunting it can be, but each and everyone was dedicated, informative, and incredibly patience. If I was to name all the staff individually it would be them all, but only to say the Dr Simms and their team 100% thank you for dealing with me in the manner you all did.
