About: Wansbeck Hospital / Respiratory medicine

When i was a patient waiting for a bed at walkwrgate park one of the nursing assistants complained a lot because of how much i used the buzzer to go to the toilet i could have got up and went if i could have. But the rest of the staff on the ward were great

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am very sorry that you overheard one of our healthcare assistants talking about your care in this way, it is of course not acceptable for our staff to have these conversations and we wouldn’t expect it at any of our hospitals. Please be assured that I will be sharing your review with the ward team to reflect and learn from, and hopefully prevent similar situations occurring in the future.
