I've been a patient at this surgery for three years now and am overall happy with the service provided. Having read a number of other reviews it is clear that there is a longstanding problem with having enough doctors to cover appointments.
I have experienced this myself and to be fair, it would appear that the surgery management have made little progress with addressing this issue. This is a shame as the doctors are helpful, caring and respectful when you can get to see one. With regards to comments about reception staff, I would suggest some customer service training across the board to ensure consistency. Only yesterday I witnessed a demanding, unreasonable lady not listening, talking over the receptionist and making demands in a patronising manner about some prescription for her child...
it was cringeworthy! The receptionist dealt with the women brilliantly! On the other hand I have experienced other members of staff who are less than accommodating! On balance I think the team do a great job, and would benefit from someone to lead a package of customer centric improvements.
