What I liked

I visited the Theatre Admissions Unit as a day case for minor surgery, although i ended up staying over night. I was very anxious and the staff made efforts to reassure me. Every member of staff i encountered from the Support Workers to the Anesthetist was professional and kind. I was spoken to at a level that i could understand and felt i was able to approach them with my concerns.

I can almost say that it was a pleasurable experience which may sound ridiculous. But i came away feeling proud of the NHS . Highly recommend the Unit and i hope the staff are aware of what a high level of care they are giving. Very much appreciated.
