"Noisy Nurses"

Just a word of warning for those who may find themselves on the Assessment Unit at DRI - the noisy nurses!! On more than one occasion now I have been kept awake by having to hear the ins and outs of the ward's nurses' love life, finance problems etc! I could write a book on it. Sadly this excessively loud chatting continues more often than not right through the night, and is especially troublesome for those unfortunate enough to be bedded near their work station. Even when my daughter politely asked for a little consideration, the noise continued. On one occasion they were so busy chatting they had to be reminded to check my BP and later forgot to give me my medicine, so came in the early hours of the morning when they eventually remembered. How are sick patients meant to get the rest they need?
