My brother had a slight accident back in September resulting in him being taking to ED at Dr Grays, on arrival his condition deteriorated and he was required to be put to sleep. He was then transferred to ward 8 were he took a long time to recover from the anaesthetic. 48 hours later the decision was made to transfer him to 504 at ARI. He spent nearly 2 weeks there.
All staff in every area can not be faulted, his care was second to none despite them being very busy and as a family we were kept up to date at all times.
We did not get all the names of the staff but, Jason in ward 8 provided exceptional care.
Nhs staff tend to get a lot of bad comments and we felt we had to put in a positive note.
Thank you to all involved.
"His care was second to none"
