I fell from a ladder whilst decorating and severely injured my elbow. Paramedic and ambulance attended to take me to the A&E. After being assessed, my dislocated elbow was repositioned before taken in surgery. An operation to stabilise my elbow was done and two days later, another very lengthy operation was performed to rebuild the joint and insert two plates and pins into my arms.
All the staff have been wonderful. I have sent thank you cards to the paramedics/ambulance team, Huntsman ward and A&E staff.
I cant quite straighten my arm but i have come such a long way in the 6months since my accident. I cant thank everyone enough for the care I have received. The Nhs do an amazing job with the resources they have, Funding should never be out!!
