Ward 42 is an exceptional ward; efficient and well-run, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The great teamwork and respect between every grade of staff is always evident, and this in turn makes you as a patient feel very reassured, and confident in their care. The staff work so hard to meet the needs of all their patients, and always with a smile, good humour, and words of encouragement and kindness. The one thing I didn't worry about when I knew I needed more spinal surgery, was how well looked after I'd be on ward 42!
