I was sent up to Aberdeen’s Westburn ward by my midwife due to having high blood pressure, pre eclampsia in October. I was induced the following morning. The care I received by the staff while on the Westburn ward by Linda and her team was exceptional. The nurses are clearly very busy but I felt very safe and secure and was very well looked after, the nurses all made time for me despite how busy they are. I feel truly thankful and grateful for my experience and want to thank them all so much for making it a very positive experience.
The midwife I had for the majority of my labour was Donna, who was absolutely amazing, I really couldn’t have hand picked a better midwife and I will be forever grateful for the experience and support she gave me. We also had a student Bailey who was also great.
Donna really is a credit to her profession and I want to thank her very much for making the experience a positive one for me and my partner.
