"Ward 8"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

Big thank you to ward 8 staff who allowed me to attend the ward on Sunday night after I rang them for advise regarding my stiches post surgery. Although my surgery happened three days ago and technically I was under my GP care they invited me to the ward and changed my dressing which was stuck to my wound. With smiles on their faces and great professionalism. They didn't have to do it. Could send me to a&e or GP. BRI should be proud of their hard working and extremely friendly staff on ward 8.

Thank you so much for this nice feedback, and for recognizing that the staff did go 'the extra mile' in order to make things as easy and quick for you as possible. It is brilliant to hear that as well as good care there was also a caring kind attitude from all the staff which makes all the difference. We have passed this onto them, and they will be encouraged by it I assure you. I am sorry for the delay in responding, we have had to prioritise dealing with posts which indicated there is a problem that needs to be resolved, but all posts are screened quickly when they come in and we have now expanded the team of people looking after this site so we can respond to everyone more quickly, because we do value all feedback.
