Day Surgery for Angiogram at Bruce Day Surgery,University Hospital Ayr

Very Anxious on arrival but put at ease and came out relaxed and assured ...

The reception desk made me feel welcome and then Cheryl the nurse on duty escorted me thru to the ward and explained the procedures and then the nurse Eleanor took over. Dr Gemmel came and advised the procedures ..And it was a bit cool in waiting in the ward when a nurse brought heated blankets..that was a brilliant and most welcome touch..in the surgery Dr Gemmel and the other doctor as well as the theatre staff made me feel so relaxed and Linda who was at the surgery table was explaining the procedures...much appreciated and when back in the ward Eleanor looked after me to ensure I was comfortable and relaxed and then Linda came along to have a chat and any questions.....a few hours later I was discharged and back home totally relaxed,relieved and grateful for the expert,caring treatment I received...
