I am agoraphobic, so requested a home visit for my mental health assessment. The member of staff they sent mentioned several times how I was costing the nhs money by getting them to come to me. How they could have seen 3 people in the time it has taken them to come to my home. I understand nhs funding is limited but I don't feel it appropriate to make a vulnerable person feel like an inconvenience for asking for help, in the only way I could get it. I did not want further appointments as they pressured me to go to the clinic when I was not able. Months later I tried again, when I was able to get out and about more. I made it to within five minutes of the building before having a very scary, very public panic attack. I could not go further and returned home distraught. Then to receive an unsympathetic, rather annoyed in tone message stating I've been discharged and have cost the nhs money, whilst sitting in tears feeling an overwhelming sense of failure and panic, is the last straw. I will never deal with this company again. They lack the compassion and understanding required when dealing with vulnerable people.
