(as a carer),

Things were meant to get easier when my wife was released from greater manchester mental health trust/pennine care nhs foundation trust but just seems we have been left because my wife is married.

I am my wife's carer still waiting for the support to start.

At the start of the year my wife was released from hospital, keep getting told all happening in the background etc etc I'm not seeing it. Nothing's changed, staff are trying from both trusts to get things in place but surely all this should of been done before my wife was released so as soon as she came home it would all start straight away; not let her come home then try setting it all up. This has been very stressful, my wife being discharged, and it shouldn't have been.

I thought things would be different when my wife was sent to prestwich hospital and when she came home our relationship could start to repair also we can move on.

Instead all there is just pressure.

So would I, it's still going on luckily prestwich still in involved. This is not fair on me or my wife, we never been treated like this. Disgusting. What happen to duty of care.

Still the same got told pals would ring 3 weeks ago nothing. Why am I has a carer and my wife as a mental health sufferer being left. I am worried about the come back for writing this on here from communtity mental health services,dont feel like I been left with a choice..

It feels like complete chaos..I only have to deal with community mental health services because of my partner who has no trust whatsoever in them, I'm rushing back to open the door for them..if I stop all contact with them as a carer its gonna put my wifes health at risk and her recovery..I should not have to be thinking like that..triangle of care not from this services...

I'm not asking for a miracle and I know mental health services in my area are in trouble I understand staff and the nhs are under pressure but so am I of them..im not trained in this field im doing the best I can to look after my partner..

2 nhs trusts involved with my partner gmwmh are doing everything they can put things in place that they dont provide as a services because my local cmht team are unwilling or carnt do it...

Iwant a care plan that works for all parties. all this going on its creating stress anxiety in our marriage.
