"Cataract Surgery on both eyes"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Ophthalmology

I was really apprehensive about my surgery but the staff in the Ophthalmic department were marvellous and really put me at ease as soon as I arrived. Everything went well on both visits and I can now see wonderfully with both eyes! I no longer need my contact lenses or glasses for the first time in 60 years and I can't describe how that feels, so a massive thank you to everyone from a very happy lady.

Good Morning,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience of the Ophthalmic Department. It is wonderful to read that not only did the staff within the department put you at ease; you left with improved vision and can now see wonderfully for the first time in 60 years!

I will share this with the team so that your massive thank you can be received.

Kindest Regards
