I've been visiting the West Marc service as they have given me a prosthetic leg. They have all been very good, it's a superb process. It was hurting in places but they altered it for me to make it better and I have another appointment in another 4 weeks or so. All of the staff are so kind, from the receptionists right up to the person who looks at my leg. In my case I think they've done brilliantly, the lady I see is called Barbara. I was in hospital for five and a half months following surgery which resulted in a clot behind my knee, they tried to fix it but it didn't work so they has to amputate below my knee. Between the Queen Elizabeth and Golden Jubilee I can't believe how brilliant the the doctors and nurses were, they were just so kind and nothing was a bother for them. Following up from getting out of hospital they have given me this prosthetic leg and I'm slowly getting used to it now but I won't be doing any gymnastics any time soon! I just wanted to thank everyone for doing such a great job and being so helpful
