From attending A & E with sudden onset of breathlessness, to be diagnosed with atrial fibulation and a frightening diagnosis of heart failure, I received excellent treatment, the cardiac specialist nurse who visited me on the ward and later the community cardiac nurse at Fingerpost Health centre, have helped to reassure my wife and I, and since review and medication changes made by the cardiologist in outpatients I can honestly say I am now beginning to feel much better, and most of my symptoms have lessened. Even when we have been frightened and yes upset, the calm and professional straightforward approach of the whole team has made us both feel better about a situation we would much prefer not to have happened but as it has I couldn’t fault my care and treatment and feel only immense gratitude to all who have helped me so far, sincere gratitude
