"Positive atmosphere on ward 27"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

Thankyou to everyone on ward 27. I received excellent care and support throughout my pregnancy, Ceasarian and learning curve of breast feeding.

I found the staff all so friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble.

The atmosphere on the ward is positive and helped me feel at ease. At times I fet i was in private health care!

I had no bad points + can't think of anything to change. There was a good choice of food and healthy options

Many thanks

Thank you for posting these comments. I am very pleased that you received excellent care at Tameside Hospital during and after your pregnancy. I do hope that you and your “new addition” are doing well.

I will make sure the staff in the area concerned are made aware of your posting. Comments like these are a great morale booster, and positively reinforce the efforts all our staff make to constantly improve the services we provide.

Kind regards

Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved?
