"Delderfield ward"

About: Devon Partnership NHS Trust

My daughter has been on Delderfield ward for several weeks after suffering psychosis after having a baby. She was extremely unwell and had to attend a PICO in London for a week. When she returned she was admitted to Delderfield ward. The care she received on that ward was second to none. The staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they looked after her brilliantly. They are very dedicated. As a frequent visitor to the ward I observed many things. Most of the patients are extremely unwell and even very challenging patients are treated with care and compassion. There is often a lot of bad press about the mental health service, and I agree that a lot more needs to be done, but I can honestly say that if a member of your family are admitted to this ward, you do not need to be worried, they will be well looked after!!! Thankfully my daughter is now better all thanks to the amazing team on Delderfield
