Firstly you can never get an appointment.

Today 23/07/18 I rang the surgery to make an appointment to see a Dr to get a prescription for my cancer drugs, & a sick note, & told all appointment were taken up by the walk in patients. Considering i’ve Just come out of The Royal Marsden after having Stem Cell Transplant, I thought a Dr might want to see me, alas No. I was told a Dr would ring me later. When I was called by the Dr he didn’t want to see me either, & got my sick note wrong. My husband was seen by a Dr this morning just for a sick note?? Also I would like to know what is the surgeries continuous problem with prescribing me my Gliclazide! Again this month another struggle to get this medication.

With regards your medication, if you contact the surgery we will do our best to help. In regards to getting appointments, when all appointments are taken for the day, the duty doctor will be requested to decide if a telephone call and or an appointment is required. For many conditions a telephone call is adequate, and is often more convenient for both the patient and the surgery. Thank you
