"My Dad treated with dignity and real care"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

My elderly dad was admitted to Capel Ward following a fall 5 weeks ago and this resulted in the diagnosis of a spinal abscess.

He has received kindness, patience and understanding and following a general thorough health check he has had a 5 star gold care package where a number of underlying problems have come to light. Not once has been treated with anything other than full care from everyone.

The porters, the cleaners, the xray staff , the nursing team and the specialists doctors still caring for him.

Thank you all so very much, you are everything the NHS is, and should be proud of, well done everyone.
