"Appointments"

About: De Parys Medical Centre

Almost impossible to get an appointment with the system they have in place and they still appear to be taking on new patients.

You can phone at 8am but chance of getting through is poor, you can try and book online or even call in but no appointments available.

Have been with this surgery nearly 20 yrs and happy until senior partners retired a few years back . Too many part time doctors as well.

I am told it has not improved since it joined with two other surgeries.

No wonder we need the walk in centre!

Thank you for providing feedback.

Since we joined with two other surgeries in July our waiting time for a routine appointment has dropped from 5-6 weeks, to 1 week.

We also deal with all urgent problems on the same day through our extended duty team.

Unfortunately the level of pressure within General Practice has increased to such a level that most doctors now work part-time.

However since the merger there are now 16 GP Partners, which means we have reduced our use of locum GPs significantly.

I hope that, next time you require any medical support, you will find us a responsive and caring surgery.

If you would like to contact me direct I would be happy to discuss further.

Carolyn Boyd

Practice Manager
