"B18 Cardiology Ward"

I was admitted after having severe pains not long after finding out I have a blocked artery and have to have a bypass.

I have now been here for 3 weeks waiting fir a date to be transferred to Blackpool for my operation. I couldn't be released which is why I stayed because my pain couldn't be controlled out of hospital.

I have to say, even though I have been here so long, the staff in every roll have been amazing. They are All professional at what they do and do it with such care and dedication.

I have seen and heard patients, especially through the night be at their worst both medically and disgracefully and seen the staff carry on and not let it flinch them in their roles.

Whatever happens to me when I am sent to Blackpool for my bypass I wish All the staff that have helped, fed, talked and encouraged me during my stay here on B18 all the best for the future.
