"Sleep Clinic Review"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital / Respiratory medicine

I am supposed to be seen every 12 months for a review of my sleep apnoea in the clinic, but this is impossible. I get a letter 11 months after my last appointment asking me to make an appointment. When I call, there are no appointments often for six months and so a 12-month review never happens, it’s more like 18 months! I can’t understand why they do not send out the letter 4 months before your appointment is due so at least you stand a chance of getting seen within a 12 month period.
