I had an appointment to investigate a suspected TIA at the Department for Medicine for Older People.
The person who weighed me and took my blood pressure and the person who carried out the ECG treated me kindly and with utmost respect.
The consultant was excellent.
He listened carefully, carried out various examinations and answered all my queries with patience, respect and care.
He went out of his way to help me through the process, arranging for a CT scan and keeping me up to date by phone to reassure me before he had the result, and finally when he did have the result. The person who carried out the CT scan treated me with respect and answered my questions clearly.
I cannot praise the whole team more, as I was treated well and with respect by all, from the Costa café staff to the volunteer desk to the reception staff (at each stage) and the medical staff. Well done Stepping Hill Hospital.
