Ongoing health problem with my daughter since birth, she is now almost 10, and I know this condition inside out. Visited GP who suggested this was probably 'normal', following discussions at length during which I was made to feel like I was asking for the world with a referral to a specialist, and patronised for being an over protective mother, a referral was made.
About two weeks later a letter was received from Sentinel, they had tried to contact me on the phone but had not managed to get hold hold of me or leave a message. The telephone number they were using was not mine.
They explained that I could travel with my daughter to Cornwall, or North Devon, and they could book me that appointment, but if I wanted an appointment at my local hospital in Plymouth I would need to be passed directly to Derriford and they would contact me directly. Sentinel explained they did not know why this was the case, it was just what had to happen and they could put no timescale on when I would be contacted.
I have no idea who the referral has gone to so am unable to chase myself, and am still waiting over a month later for any sort of contact.
