"Great support through Breast Cancer Diagnosis"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Breast Clinic University Hospital Hairmyres / Medical Oncology

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time in April 2018, Grace, Breast Care Nurse, was there to support me and my husband when the consultant confirmed my diagnosis. Since then the care, support and advice that Grace has given me has been absolutely first class. No request has been too much trouble and Grace always takes the time to explain any queries and ensure any follow up requests are actioned. All in all Grace has been a great support to me and my family during this period.

Dear decembermj83,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feeback on your experience around the support given to both you and your husband following your diagnosis. The value of support from nurse specialists is critical at this difficult time to help guide and support throughout your care. I am delighted to hear that Grace's support and guidance has been invaluable as I know that Grace always does her best to offer a great service and ensure patients and their families are guided and supported.

I know that Grace will be delighted to receive this feed back and appreciative of you taking the time to share your experience. I will pass this onto Grace and share with the wider team.

Thank you once again and wish you well on your ongoing care.

Warmest Regards

Lynn
