"So very lucky in Inverness to have Raigmore Hospital"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have over the past 5 years had reason to be in Raigmore Hospital several times. Mainly orthopaedics where I was always treated brilliantly. The doctors and nurses are excellent, they can't do enough and are always helpful and pleasant.

We really are so very lucky in Inverness to have this grade of service on our doorstep. Thank you one and all.

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback your experiences from the care you have recently received in Raigmore. It’s never an easy time for people when they need to be in hospital but our job is to do our very best when people do need care. I have shared your feedback with colleagues which I know they will appreciate and be encouraged by. We get lots of feedback in many different ways and we try to share and learn from both positive feedback and also when the experience people have had has, regrettably not been so good.

We are continually striving to create a culture where we believe we can always learn and always improve. We know from many people it is the seemingly smaller things that we often don’t get right. So if there is anything at all you feel we could have done better, or indeed you think we are doing better over the last five years it would be great to know more.

We are also looking to develop further our patient and public volunteers. We want more independent people to be a part of our work to improve patient and carer experience as well as overseeing all our work from a patient, carer and public perspective.
