"Treatment excellent. Booking system frustrating."

Phoning at 8am to get an appointment on the same day is stressful, however they answer in the end. (I put my phone on unlimited speed dial and get on with something else) . The advantage of the system is that you control which day you see the doctor. Everytime I've called there's always an appointment, usually in the morning. The doctors' I've seen are wonderful; they listen, are respectful and are very supportive. Receptionists are always polite and helpful. We must remember that the population has increased and there is a shortage GP's throughout the NHS. The booking system is an improvement on the previous system when there often appointments weren't available for up to a month.
