"Visit to Ward 107 Urology Clinic on Friday..."

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Urology

I had cause to visit Ward 107 to learn Self Catheterisation having had an indwelling catheter post hospital stay for over a year. It was with some trepidation that I went that day, not knowing what to expect. Any worries I had though were unfounded as I was immediately put at ease from extremely polite and professional staff who went out of their way to make my time there go without a hitch. They acted with calm efficiency ensuring my dignity was preserved at all times. All I can do is say a huge 'Thank You' to all the staff who were on duty that day. I was left with the feeling of 'Ah well, there really was nothing to worry about!' I will say to all the people who have to go to this clinic for a trial without catheter or to learn self catheterisation is 'Not to worry as you are in good hands. Once again thanks all!
