Daughter attended medical assessment unit on 24/6. Great quick and efficient service in there and was well looked after. As she was in severe pain she was prescribed tramadol. Some 2.5 hours after being prescribed it she was still sat there waiting for it to be dispensed. Some problem with the in house pharmacy. Doctor was beside himself as were the patients waiting in agony. Absolutely no consideration for the welfare of people waiting and clearly a cause of a backlog of patients. Come on HRI, get your act together. This is no way to treat patients. Daughter had to leave without them and was told they would be posted out to her. I will believe that when I see it. No doubt she will have to make an appointment at the doctors for them to prescribe some. No wonder the NHS is broken. Medical assessment unit not shown as an option when asked what department
