"Cancer journey"

I visited my gp where an urgent referral was made to Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy for scans and biopsy. I felt overwhelmed however absolutely no time was wasted in getting tests done to diagnosis. 

I very quickly attended ENT department where I was seen by consultant. Once I was admitted to ENT ward I felt extremely at ease with all the staff who made my stay amazing,  letting me know what would be happening while I was in hospital and answered any concerns I had,  nothing was too much trouble 

My journey to date has been made so  straight forward with all staff involved in my care being absolutely amazing.  Everyone from my gp to reception ,ward staff  and consultant have shown a great deal of warmth and compassion I cannot thank everyone enough for everything they have done for me. 

I'm currently moving to Edinburgh for further treatment but wanted to thank all the staff within ENT department of VHK Fife.
