"Experience at Bexley Wing St James Leeds"

Having been diagnosed with prostate cancer I began radiotherapy treatment at the above in June 2019.

Like most people being told they have cancer, this came as a shock & some concern as to the treatment required - & the eventual outcome.

I have been amazed at the ambience at Bexley Wing, at the pleasant environment &, especially the staff members there.

From day one I was always greeted with a smile & a cheerful 'hello, how are you today' from every member of staff I came into contact with.  My treatment was mostly on time, each stage carefully explained & there was a good selection of books & magazines to pass the waiting times.

The facilities were good but it was the staff that made the difference in what could have been a depressing experience in ones life. They were all cheerful, helpful  & pleasant.  Thanks & well done all!!
