I'm afraid I can relate to a previous review where the person posting mentions the attitude of some staff on Bulphan Ward.
I was taken there from A & E in November 2018 (my review should be on here, but I couldn't locate it when I looked).
I couldn't fault the doctor on the ward - excellent and very pleasant to talk to, as was the Consultant I met - but some (I stress "some") of the nursing staff were less than pleasant in many ways, particularly one nurse who was loud and rather rude (I think said nurse assumed they were being humorous(??) but talking in a hectoring manner isn't funny in my view.
A pity to post this, as the cleaning and catering staff were brilliant on the ward, as were some of the nurses.
I also didn't like hearing elderly patients spoken to as though they were a nuisance - I could stand up for myself if needed, they can't.
I fully appreciate that nursing is a tough job - and as I've stated, some of the nursing staff were brilliant - but they were let down by other colleagues.
I also didn't appreciate hearing a member of the nursing staff going on at length about leaving the job and going to work elsewhere.
