Thank you very much for taking the time to give us your feedback on the Community Stroke Service. We appreciate all forms of feedback to help improve the service for the future.

We are glad to hear that you felt supported by the team but are sorry to hear that you still don't feel well after your stroke, and you are finding this quite frustrating.

You might find it helpful to talk this through with someone on from the Stroke Association Helpline. You may want to know more about stroke and its effects, be looking for practical information and support, or simply need someone to talk to. The Stroke Helpline is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday from 10.00am to 1.00pm. The helpline number is 0303 30 33 100. You can also email them at helpline@stroke.org.uk.

You can also find lots of information about stroke on their website at www.stroke.org.uk. You might also find it useful to access further support though My Stroke Guide, our online support tool. The guide is designed to support stroke survivors, family members and carers 24 hours a day. Easy-to-read information, advice and videos from the Stroke Association explain everything you need to know about stroke. There is also a chat forum that can connect you to the online community, to find out how others manage their recovery and to a dedicated section for family and friends. You can find out more and self-register by clicking the following link www.mystrokeguide.com

I hope that that you find this helpful.

We wish you a continued recovery and all the best for the future.

Kind Regards

Claire Lee

Community Stroke Team Lead
