The staff here are all really very good. They are very proficient and effective and they work well as a team.
I have made a huge amount of progress as a result of their care in the 2 weeks I have been here for rehab after a nasty car accident.
I assume there is a tight budget on food but the food is really good!
The senior staff are very visible and in touch with patients and staff on a daily basis.
What has helped me a lot ,on top of their professionalism, has been the staff's compassionate kindness. Also at times they can be tremendously funny!
I am getting ready to go home and all staff ,not just the OTs, are looking for ways to help me negotiate the many practical problems I will face on my return.
I cannot speak too highly of this place.
As a lecturer in law and business studies I am well aware of Arguments for the economies of scale.
I also know many small hospitals like this one have been closed down.
I believe it would be very very wrong if this place were to be closed.
Due to the care I have received, I will be going home and back to work after Christmas instead of being a burden to the state my family and friends.
