I had a wonderful experience from the Maternity ward when I gave birth to my baby. We was treated with great respect and my dignity maintained through the whole experience.
Midwife guided me through the birth step by step, offered me support in areas I was concerned about such as breastfeeding successfully. She offered great support , such patience and care shown. She was fantastic with my baby. I had a great birthing experience myself and husband was so happy to have received such good care. Student nurse was fantastic too.
Midwives checked on us and regularly feedback what was going on regards to being discharged on the same day therefore baby needed to have certain tests prior to discharge.
AfterCare from the Infant Feeding Team was amazing because of their involvement I have maintained breastfeeding successfully and my little one is thriving. Offered advise to myself and family how maintain supply and establish breastfeeding as I was having a hard time. The nurses came assessed us spent time with us. Supported us when baby had a little procedure done.
Overall the Maternity Department & Infant Feeding Team were amazing, thank you.
