Hi.
I posted previously about an experience in the MAU and I need to readdress the balance and provide a further update on my experience and the wider UHNM.
We returned to the unit on Sunday and was treated in a timely manner by very professional and courteous staff. The level of care we received was exceptional and one of the staff members who I was disparaging of previously treated us and was excellent.
From the MAU we were moved to delivery where again we were looked after perfectly and had a brilliant midwife called Nicky.
On ward 206 and the staff are also very good and standard of care has been excellent.
There is still plenty of improvement to be made. Management still need to allocate resources better, and offer more services elsewhere in the trust to relieve pressure which I feel can't cope, as demonstrated by never being able to get a parking space and the long wait times.
