Today I attended an Outpatient appointment re a skin tag on my face, having been referred by my GP. I was contacted within 2 working days of being referred by my GP and had an appointment in less than a week. I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time by Dr Elnaggar. He was very polite and friendly without being over-familiar, explained what he was looking for, the likely causation of the tag, how he proposed to treat it and its implications. He checked with the consultant, Dr Gaul (? ) who was equally polite and helpful. The quality of the service I received was first-rate; the only down-side was the facilities in which the staff had to work, for which neither the staff nor the Trust bear any responsibility. My wife commented on a notice advertising a raffle, with tickets purchasable from staff, to support the work of the Dermatology Clinic - what a sad indictment of the funding of the NHS. Please pass on my compliments and thanks to Dr Elnaggar and his colleagues
