I had a fantastic birth thanks to the midwives of the Community Midwife Unit at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. I had been using hypnobirthing and managed to get to 9cm dilated before being admitted but the midwives in the unit could not have been more supportive and encouraging, taking care of me throughout the labour and into the postpartum period.
"They took care of me throughout"
