I had an awful cycling accident in June leaving me with a traumatic brain injury. I spent 2 months in medical care starting in Derriford hospital, then to the RD&E and finishing in Mardon. As you may be aware it’s hard to medically treat a closed traumatic brain Injury, but both RD&E and the Mardon centre gave the right positive support to help me recover. Thanks to the lovely staff and consultants being positive towards me and letting me know that I will be okay, I feel I have made a brilliant recovery. During my care at Mardon I could tell from their positivity how well experienced they were, working in a neurological field on a daily basis.
Mardon is a wonderful neurological rehabilitation centre and I would say that anybody attending rehab at this centre will definitely receive very good support.
